LEMON + AID
Lemon + Aid is a charitable initiative from The Lemon Collective that brings awareness and support to organizations that we believe in, reaching out to our community and making it simple to be of service. Below are some of the organizations we've partnered with in the past that we love and respect, and we think you will, too.
I Support the Girls is an organization that collects and donates new & used bras, new sealed packages of tampons and maxi pads to homeless women and girls across North America (and in four locations worldwide). In November 2016, The Lemon Collective collected over one hundred bras and feminine products, sent in from donors all over the United States, for the I Support the Girls initiative.
The Letter Project // Tap In Society The Letter Project's mission is to foster a community of women who build one another up through collaboration and shared confidence. The Tap In Society is a community of activists who meet monthly to build on the momentum of the Women's March and continue taking action to create positive change. TLC is donating our space for an evening celebrating the UN's International Day of women. The group will host an evening of letter writing to young women all over the world with words of encouragement.
Planned Parenthood Through its clinics, Planned Parenthood provides a variety of reproductive health services, such as birth control, abortion, sexually transmitted disease testing, and relevant cancer screenings. TLC hosted an evening of writing postcards to our senators. We were able to raise over $600 for Planned Parenthood.
