Tea is the most widely consumed drink on this plant next to water, yet for many North Americans tea comes stale in tea bags from a flimsy yellow box bought at the grocery store. But it's 2019. If you care about good food, you should care about good tea.
Join Wight Tea Co at The Lemon Collective in Washington, DC from 7pm-9pm on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 to learn all about loose-leaf tea from how it's grown and processed to how to make the perfect cup of tea at home, in the office, or on the go.
Attendees will enjoy sampling different types of tea and will take a tin of Wight Tea Co tea home with them.
About your hosts:
Brittany and Joseph Wight are siblings 7 years apart, so pretty much they had nothing in common growing up. It wasn't until 2008 that the two discovered a mutual passion for tea and became friends over sharing their favorites. The duo has been studying loose-leaf ever since and now handcraft luxury tea blends and curate single estate teas in their home town of Baltimore, MD.
