Live Like Fine Wine: getting better with age

It’s the elephant in the room of our lives: with every breath we take, we’re aging. For women, the thought of getting older can come with a whole lotta baggage. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

This workshop is about making space for millennial women to shape their perspectives on aging. Because to live is to age - it’s the core of being human.

And we gotta be geared up to slay our whole lives long.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to maximize your “aging ROI” by connecting to yourself, your community, and your spirit. You’ll leave with a map to guide you through a series of simple actions that you can take now in order to reap the benefits of a holistic life further down the road.

Your guide will be Alanna Ford, who launches new products focused on wellbeing for women at The Hatchery, the innovation lab at AARP. Over the last year, she’s interviewed dozens of diverse women across the country who are in their 50s and 60s about aging and what it means to live a good life. Based on her research, you’ll learn about real women and what they cultivated throughout their 20s, 30s, and 40s in order to embrace aging as an opportunity for rebirth and growth.

Check out a visual story about what Alanna learned from older women here.
