The Emotional Labor Union

All the women.

In me.

Are tired.

- Nayyirah Waheed

Are you interested in topics surrounding Feminism? Are you looking for more outlets to have meaningful conversations about your experiences? Do you find yourself emotionally drained either professionally, personally or both?

The Emotional Labor Union is an open forum for discussing our shared experiences of emotional labor. Come, sip some wine, share your experience, or just listen & make connections with like-minded people. We welcome all ages and orientations that identify as female.

The rosé will be flowing and there will be a snack to share. Additional snacks are welcome but not necessary!

Feminist issues, community-building and rosé have been passions of Casey's for a long time. After a recent solo vacation, the first she'd ever taken, she felt invigorated by the idea of creating spaces for women to come together to talk openly and honestly about issues they face today. Both as a form of catharsis as well as to build a supportive community. When she's not leading feminist discussion groups, Casey can be found managing the operations of a political consultancy, bartending or chilling at home with her husband and two kitties.
