Femme Night: Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)

*At Colony Club*

Femme Night is back!

Our April Femme Night pick will be Kiki's Delivery Service, directed by Hayao Miyazaki as an adaptation of the 1985 novel of the same name by Eiko Kadono. The film tells the story of a young witch, Kiki, who moves to a new town and uses her flying ability to earn a living. According to Miyazaki, the movie portrays the gulf between independence and reliance.

Femme Night is our way of connecting the community over free films, great drinks, and the occasional breakfast sandwich. Come to critique, come to drink wine, come to make friends, whatever! Femme Night is always free, and first come first served, but we encourage you to get there early and get a drink from the wonderful staff at Colony Club.
