About your host, Whitney Teal

Recovering journalist, typical millennial dreamer and hoop earring authority, I've spent more than a decade crafting narratives for national publications, plucky websites, mission-driven organizations and tech brands. A Marylander by way of Texas, weaving compelling stories, whether knee-slapping or heartwarming, is in my blood, and I'm happiest when I'm helping brands of all sizes discover, write and blast theirs. My loves include saying 'no' to oxford commas; nutella, goat cheese + frozen yogurt over everything; eschewing capitalization rules and lavender-scented anything.
