Join Timber Pizza founder Andrew Dana for an afternoon of pizza making and wine drinking at his Petworth pizzeria.
During the two-hour class you will learn how to:
- Stretch pizza dough, and if you ask nicely Andrew may even show you how to flip it in the air
- Build flavor profiles through topping combinations
- Cook the pie in a wood-burning oven
And did we mention there'd be wine? Andrew will be pouring bottles of red and white vino until you say "Uncle."
Guests will leave with a goody bag and tips on how to create restaurant-quality pizza at home.
About your host, Andrew Dana
Andrew Dana was born and raised in Mount Pleasant in Washington DC. He went to college and grad school, but was never about that life. After trying to make it in the corporate world, he founded Timber Pizza with friend and co-worker Christ Brady in May of 2014. The two originally sold pizza at local farmers markets and today also run a brick and mortar location in Petworth along with executive chef Dani Moreira. Andrew really likes basketball and R&B, too.
