Join MATINE designer Carolyn Misterek for an afternoon of crafting and design your own leather tassels! There is no sewing required in this project, so it's perfect for beginners.
Carolyn will walk you through the basics of tassel making. Then you'll be able to create your own double-ended tassel cord or two single tassel cords using a variety of leathers in a rainbow of colors. Mix and match colors or go monochromatic, it's completely up to you!
These tassel cords can be tied to your favorite tote bag, keychain or used as decor around the house—tie them to a drawer pull, hang from a wall hook, tie around a vase or add to napkin rings at the dinner table. Once the ideas start, it's hard to stop thinking of cute places to put these little guys! You can customize the length of the cord to suit your needs.
All tools and materials will be provided and you'll get to take home your two tassels (attached to a single cord or individual cords).
Ticket price: $45
